Subject:Many thanks

I would like to put on record here my thanks to Bro James Tarvit for the very great help he has given me in finding interviewees for the Accent and Identity on the Scottish-English Border project, based at the University of York. Though I am not a Brother, I very much enjoyed his tour of Lodge St Ebbe. I still visit the Land o'Cakes and look at the Lodge St Ebbe with great fondness. Long may all your good work continue - Saturday coffee mornings and all!

Subject:Greetings from one of your ancient members of Lodge St Ebbe No 70

I send greetings to Bro Jack Willox, RWM and the Brethren of Lodge St Ebbe No 70, my Mother Lodge, on this particular occasion of the Re-dedication of the Lodge on 17 October. I have fond memories of my Initiation in April 1951 and more recently at the 250th Anniversary Church Parade. I notice my face in the church photograph. I send particular greetings to Bro George Donnelly, Prov GM, and congratulate him on the very fine website.
All is well with Freemasonry in New Zealand and I always enjoy attending Lodge.
Best wishes to you all.

Bro. George and Brethren of St. Ebbe No.70,

Warm Fraternal Greetings from Galashiels 262. Great looking site, a credit to your fine old lodge. I look forward to visiting again - hopefully over the Festive period for the walk through the town - and the excellent harmony!

Fraternally Yours,
